Doc Bear's Jack Daniels Whiskey Fudge
Rich chocolate fudge infused with Jack Daniel's whiskey for adult indulgence. This simple fudge recipe uses a double boiler method and includes a cake vodka variation.
Ingredients
- 3.5 Cups chocolate (melted)
- 1 Cup sweetened condensed milk (not the full can)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 0.25 Cup Jack Daniel's whiskey
Instructions
- Spray an 8 by 8-inch baking dish cooking spray.
- In a large bowl melt the chocolate in the microwave according to package instructions or use the following double boiler instructions. (This is how I do it)
- Take a medium sauce pot and fill about ½ way with hot water.
- Bring to a light boil then reduce to a simmer.
- Place chocolate chips into a medium Pyrex bowl (large enough to NOT fall into the pan, but small enough that the bottom and about an inch and a half sits in the pot.
- When the water stops boiling, place the bowl on top of the pot and allow the steam to heat the bowl and melt the chips.
- Stir the chips constantly so that the cooler chips are rotated to the bottom and allowed to melt.
- Once all the chips are melted and the chocolate is nice a creamy, continue.
- Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, the vanilla extract, and the whiskey.
- Pour the mixture into the sprayed pan. Cover with foil or plastic and let set completely (between four & eight hours).
