Doc Bear's No Witnesses Hot Dogs

Bacon-wrapped hot dogs with cheese, baked until crispy. The ominous name suggests these are so good they'll disappear quickly, leaving no evidence behind.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg bun length hot dogs
  • 1 pkg hot dog buns
  • 16 each slices of bacon, uncooked
  • 8 each slices of American cheese
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Onion
  • relish
  • Chili
  • Jalapenos
  • shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Take hot dog and wrap with a slice of cheese, then tightly wrap cheese dog with two slices of bacon. Ends can be held with a toothpick if needed.
  3. Once the dogs are wrapped, place them into a baking dish that has been coated with cooking spray.
  4. Place dish into oven and bake until desired degree of doneness, about 15 to 30 minutes, turning dogs about halfway through cooking.
  5. Toast the buns if desired and then place one dog in each bun.
  6. Top with any of the optional desired ingredients.
  7. Leave NO witnesses!!!
